About Me
Hi. I am Jasmine. I have a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology, and years of experience helping people create better lives for themselves.
The research shows that what matters most is how you feel when you talk to me. Schedule a call, no pressure. My goal is to support you in finding what works for you. I am happy to spend some time talking about your goals and how I might be able to support you.

Here is what I know for sure...
Clients come to me because they are ready to work. They know that what they are doing is not working. They need help. They feel lost, and alone. They sit in my office and they feel safe to explore what is going on. They say, "I like coming here" and "This is helping so much". They are showing up with courage and willingness to change. They are driven to create a better life, to expand their consciousness. These are the people I work best with.
Many of the clients I work with have been to therapy before. They have self-awareness and understand what is going on, but they may not be clear on how to make the necessary changes. I help my clients experience a deeper level of healing. Some of the tools I use are different than "traditional" talk therapy, and they really do facilitate deeper change.
On the topic of deep work, let me address hypnotherapy for a moment. When I was first introduced to hypnotherapy, I was completely opposed to it and thought it was some freak-show process. But people I trusted and respected swore by it. So I tried it, and I am so glad I did. My clients say to me, "That was amazing" and "I didn't even know that stuff was in there!" In short, my clients who try hypnotherapy...love hypnotherapy. There are deep things driving our behavior that we may not even know are there. Hypnotherapy helps us to access this stuff. This is the next level of healing; it's great for people who understand what is happening, but want to do the deeper work.

My Specialties:
- Codependency - Stop revolving your life around others, access your personal power, take better care of yourself.
- Self-Esteem - Value yourself, increase your self-love (I know it's cheesy, but it's important).
- Divorce - Your life feels like it just shattered. Everything that you thought you were has just been flipped upside down. You feel lost and confused about where to go. Get some support in this time of transition so you can set yourself up for a successful future.
- Narcissistic Abuse - Narcissistic Abuse is an experience that shatters your sense of identity and reality. You have been persecuted for reasons you do not understand. It feels like an experience of psychological warfare and you must support yourself through this devastating and confusing time.
- Emotional Eating - Stop soothing yourself with food (and other coping mechanisms) that are self-sabotaging.
- Relationships - You have been successful in many areas of your life, but you have a difficult time connecting with other people. You are lonely.
The name Yellow Arrow Counseling is inspired by one particular journey that I had, one routed with yellow arrows. I walked 500 miles, carrying everything I needed on my back. It was extremely difficult, yet empowering. I had terrible blisters as I walked up and down the hills; I was tired, hungry, exhausted, uncomfortable, and often uninspired to continue. The arrows became my guide, my counselor, and my inspiration. They were with me as I walked. They guided me to the next destination where I would likely find relief. I knew that I was not alone. This experience was powerful, just as I believe the therapeutic process to be. As a therapist, I want to be a guide for those who are also interested in being present on the path of life. I want to be there for you as you walk through the discomfort to help you find the relief that may lie ahead on your journey.
